Anushka Announces Break From Social Media

Anushka Shetty greatly disappointed the audiences with the film, Ghaati. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film which was supposed to bring Anushka back to success has not worked at the box office. The film and the actress received criticism. As of now, Anushka has not reacted to any of this but promoted the film before the release, digitally by taking part in telephonic interviews.

Meanwhile, she decided to take a break from social media now. Taking to Instagram, she confirmed the same with her followers, adding that she wanted to reconnect with the world and work beyond the scrolling. Anushka might have been unhappy with the result of Ghaati and the criticism that she did not attend the promotions. However, she has never taken this social media criticism strongly. All she is now trying to do is to bounce back and we hope that it happens soon.

“Trading Blue light to candle light. Will be stepping away from social media for a bit. Just to reconnect with the world and work beyond the scrolling, to where we actually started,” she wrote.

Anushka also added, “See you all soon with more stories and more love.”

Anushka has not signed any new project in Telugu yet. However, the actress will next be seen in Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer.
