Lokesh Kanagaraj To Begin Kaithi 2 Next?

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently made the film Coolie, which did not perform well at the box office. The director was criticised for coming up with a routine template kind of a movie.

Meanwhile, everyone thought that Lokesh will soon begin his film with Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. However, the latest developments indicate a different scenario. Kamal Haasan’s new film with Anbariv has been confirmed now.

The stunt master duo Anbariv have been working on a script for quite some time now and they are ready to take the film to the floors. Malayalam screenwriter Syam Puskaran is working on the film’s story. This gives clearance for Lokesh to begin Kaithi 2 as he promised earlier.

Also, Superstar Rajinikanth is busy with the shoot of Jailer 2, and now Kamal Haasan is going to start KH237, which will give Lokesh some free time. Fans are assuming that soon after he completes his acting debut, he will move to Kaithi 2 immediately.

The interesting thing is that Anbariv are the fight masters for every lokesh Kanagaraj’s film. If they get busy with directorial debut, their participation for Kaithi 2 might be uncertain. We should wait to see how things will shape up.

Another angle is that since Lokesh is busy with his acting debut, by the time he completes that film, Rajinikanth might wrap up Jailer 2 and Kamal may finish the Anbariv project. An official announcement regarding Lokesh’s next will be out this October, as per Tamil media reports.
