Kantara to Begin the Premieres Trend in Kannada Cinema?

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara is one of the super successful films across the nation. The film which was made on a small budget got a big release in multiple languages. The film’s prequel, titled Kantara: Chapter 1 is now in the offing. The film is scheduled for a grand release worldwide on October 2nd but the team also reportedly aiming for the early premieres, a day before the release.

Rishab Shetty and his team completed the shoot and are busy with the post production works. Very soon, they will also begin the promotions by releasing the trailer. Meanwhile, it has been officially confirmed that the world’s first show of the movie will happen at 7 PM IST on October 1st.

The early premieres are expected to take place in India too. Usually, Kannada films, despite being released at the pan-India level did not opt for special premieres before day. But seeing the success of the Telugu and Tamil films, the makers of Kantara might have been planning to held the special shows.

Since Kantara’s prequel is something that is much-awaited, the craze will also be huge if there are premieres.
