Rajini × Kamal: Sudden Negativity Grows On Lokesh, But Why?

Ever since the statement of Rajinikanth, confirming a collaboration with Kamal Haasan, began to go viral, the discussion about who would direct the project has also got intensified. Ever since these speculations began, everyone has had a preconceived thought that Lokesh Kanagaraj would be the best option for this magnum opus.

However, sudden negativity is growing over Lokesh now, with the speculations about him not being associated with the project.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently busy with his acting debut and would next take up the sequel to Kaithi. After that, he is expected to do his biggest multistarrer, if not the film with Aamir Khan. But the latest rumors are growing that Lokesh is not likely to direct the movie.

The said project is going to be a joint production venture of Raj Kamal International and Red Giant Films. Despite Lokesh working with both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, the sources say that one of the production houses is not happy with Lokesh’s recent work on Coolie and is looking for alternate options.

It is also being speculated that Pradeep Ranganathan is going to direct the movie. He is one of the potential options for the producers, and he has recently finished acting in the films LIK and Dude. He has not signed any other film, either as an actor or as a director.

As of now, there is no official confirmation of the project, leaving Lokesh’s fans worried.
