10 Years For The Strong Writing In Tollywood!

Director Sukumar, whose Pushpa franchise reached the milestone of becoming an “All Time Indian Industry Hit,” has achieved recognition as a cult filmmaker at the national level. While his standing extends far beyond the Telugu states, his local legacy is defined by more than stardom and commercial achievements.

Simultaneously directing major star-led films and nurturing experimental content, Sukumar has made Sukumar Writings a production house synonymous with both innovation and scale. Over the past ten years, the banner has produced a series of blockbusters in collaboration with leading production houses, including Kumari 21F, Uppena, Virupaksha, 18 Pages, Pushpa 2, and Gandhi Thatha Chettu.

Among these, Pushpa 2: The Rule emerged as a cultural and commercial phenomenon, breaking records across domestic and international markets. It demonstrated not only the reach of Sukumar’s vision but also highlighted the high production values associated with Sukumar Writings.

Currently, one of the most awaited Indian films, Peddi, starring global star Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu, is under development in association with Sukumar Writings. Another upcoming project, starring Naga Chaitanya and directed by Karthik Dandu, is also backed by the banner.

Sukumar is presently finalizing the script for his next directorial with Ram Charan and is also engaged in pre-visualization work. Sources reveal that six additional scripts are ready to begin production under the Sukumar Writings banner, all reportedly having the potential for nationwide impact.
