Pawan Kalyan’s OG has been creating euphoria across the globe with its premieres. But in Bengaluru, a screening at a theater in KR Puram briefly turned chaotic before resuming later.
During the premiere, a group of overexcited fans reportedly brought a knife into the hall and, in their frenzy, damaged the theater screen. This forced the management to halt the show midway to control the situation and ensure safety.
After discussions with the fans and theater authorities, calm was restored. The management arranged to restart the screening after a short delay, much to the relief of disappointed moviegoers.
Videos of the incident and the damaged screen quickly surfaced online, going viral on social media. The clips sparked debates about the limits of fan celebrations and the need for better security at theaters.
Despite the disruption, the film resumed smoothly, and the rest of the screening was completed without further issues. Elsewhere, OG continued to enjoy massive premieres with strong occupancy and record-breaking advances.
