With director Sujeeth scoring a success with OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, everyone is curious about the director’s next film. Sujeeth started his career with Sharwanand’s Run Raja Run and then went on to make Saaho with Prabhas. Now, Sujeeth did OG. The debut was a comedy drama, while the other two are serious action dramas. Now, Sujeeth aims to create a dark comedy.
In a recent interview with Gulte Pro, Sujeeth revealed that he misses making fun films and foresees the saturation of a particular genre, and he wants to undergo a shift. In the process, he plans to create a dark comedy that could have repeat value.
“Whenever I watch Nelson’s films, I feel like we should also be making such films here in Telugu. Working on fun films will always be nice, unlike how people are serious while doing action films,” said Sujeeth, promising that his next film would be released next year without any further delays.
On the other hand, there have been speculations that Nani’s next film will be with Sujeeth, and the project will reportedly be launched on the eve of Dussehra. The project that Sujeeth is working on with Nani is essentially the dark comedy he is referring to.
Unlike the speculations that Nani-Sujeeth film will be an action entertainer, it is going to be a witty dark comedy entertainer with proper action elements. Reportedly, the film’s script is ready and Sujeeth plans to wrap up the entire shoot in a single schedue in Europe.
