Akshaye Khanna’s MAHAKALI Look: Intense

After the sensational HanuMan, the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe takes its next monumental step with MAHAKALI. Produced by RKD Studios and fronted by showrunner Prasanth Varma, the film marks the directorial debut of Puja Aparna Kolluru. It is presented by RK Duggal.

Introducing Akshaye Khanna in a character unlike any he has played before as Shukracharya, his first look is dropped. The poster shows him standing in front of huge stone fortresses, with fire-lit altars glowing under a stormy sky. He is thin and dressed in spiritual attire, with a long silver beard and shining, serious eyes. His intense look indicates how powerful the character is going to be.

Shukracharya represents one of the most complex figures in Hindu lore. Akshaye Khanna, who was flooded with offers following the success of Chhava, chose Mahakali for his Telugu debut, as he was thoroughly impressed with the character.

Coming to the technical crew, Smaran Sai provides the music, while Suresh Ragutu cranks the camera. The movie is fast progressing with its shoot, and the remaining works will be completed by December.
