Two upcoming Telugu films, Telusu Kada starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Mass Jathara featuring Ravi Teja, are set to release this October. As part of their promotions, both actors came together for a joint interview. What started as a casual chat about their movies turned into an interesting conversation about biopics.
During the interview, Siddhu revealed that he once planned to make a biopic on Ravi Teja. “After Krishna and His Leela released, I thought of making a biopic on you. I even worked on it for two months,” Siddhu said. Ravi Teja was surprised by the revelation and asked if Siddhu was serious. Siddhu confirmed he was and added that it would be great if they could discuss it in the future.
Ravi Teja responded by saying he too has ideas for a biopic on an actor, but preferred to keep the details private for now. He also shared his opinion that biopics should show both positive and negative sides of a person. Siddhu agreed, saying that a biopic should explore a person’s inner self.
The discussion also turned light-hearted when Siddhu asked which Ravi Teja film he could remake. Ravi Teja suggested ‘Naa Autograph’ would suit him well. Siddhu said he loved that film and mentioned that after DJ Tillu released, someone told him he could be the next Ravi Teja, a comment that made him very happy.
On the work front, Ravi Teja is currently shooting for his next film directed by Kishore Tirumala, reportedly titled Bharatamahaseyalaku Vignapthi. Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s next film, Badass directed by Ravikanth Perepu, is about the journey of a film star.
