After the debacle of Jack, Siddhu Jonnalagadda is returning to the big screens with his new film, Telusu Kada Directed by Neeraja Kona, this movie is slated for a worldwide release on October 17, during the Diwali weekend. Srinidhi Shetty and Raashi Khanna are playing the other female leads in it.
Many people felt that Siddhu faced the “Tillu” syndrome with Jack, as audiences couldn’t connect with his role in the film because they were still not ready to see him out of that “Tillu” zone. Also, the lacklustre story and screenplay also resulted in that film’s failure.
Thus, Siddhu is aiming to make a strong comeback and break the jinx with Telusu Kada. This film’s success is much needed for Siddhu. Not only Siddhu, but Srinidhi and Raashi are also pinning huge hopes on the film, as it is equally important for them.
It has been three years since Raashi was seen in a Telugu film. In the last couple of years, she appeared in two Hindi films and two Tamil films, but all of them failed to boost her career. Now, she is making a comeback in Telugu after a long gap and needs a big hit to survive the current competition.
On the other side, despite scoring hits with films like KGF and HIT 3, Srinidhi has been unable to bag a big offer in Telugu. She would be hoping that Telusu Kada’s success will bring her a much-needed break in Tollywood.
In that way, Telusu Kada’s success is not only important to Siddhu but equally important to Raashi and Srinidhi as well.
