Emotional Scenes In Dude Felt Challenging: Mamitha Baiju

Premalu beauty Mamitha Baiju will next be seen in an atypical character in Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Mamitha says she was drawn to the project by the freshness of the story. “The way Keerthiswaran narrated the concept felt very exciting and new. My character, Kural, plays a significant role in the story and is unlike anything I’ve done before.”

The actress admits the role came with its challenges. “Some emotional scenes were felt challenging. I practiced the dialogues all night for those parts. But on set, I focused solely on the performance and didn’t let the pressure affect me. I always like to be fully prepared, and that made the experience both challenging and rewarding.”

Mamitha also shared her experience of working with co-star Pradeep Ranganathan. “Being on set with him was fun and effortless. He brings a natural energy that lifts every scene.”

She believes Dude has something for everyone. “While it’s fun and light-hearted on the surface, the film also carries a meaningful core. It’s a story that will resonate with audiences across age groups.”

With just three days to go until its release on October 17, the trailer has already raised expectations for Dude.
