During Diwali 2024, we had two straight releases along with one dubbing release at the box office. Ka, Lucky Baskhar, and Amaran were released at the box office. Interestingly, all three went on to become blockbusters. With four releases lined up for this Diwali, there is an anticipation that all of these will also become hits.
We have Mithra Mandali, Dude, K Ramp, and Telusu Kada this year. Surprisingly, all four movies are carrying a positive buzz among the film circles now. Moreover, the films are of different genres too. Mithra Mandali attracts youth and families with its fun content, while Dude is also targeted at Youth, with a love story. Telusu Kada is strictly for couples and youth, with its bold content, and K Ramp is a drama aimed at youth. Almost all four films are youth-targeted.
If the youth flock to theatres during this festival season, it will bring in huge revenues to all the movies. Mithra Mandali will have paid premieres, a day ahead of the release. The word of mouth becomes crucial. Not just for this film, word of mouth becomes crucial for all other films as well.
If all four works at the box office, that will give a big boost to the box office and would be encouraging to other filmmakers.
