Kiran Abbavaram has become one of the young actors popular among Telugu audiences, especially the youth. Known for films that blend romance and comedy, he is now gearing up for his next release, K Ramp, a youthful entertainer.
Hailing from Rayalaseema, Andhra Pradesh, Kiran has often spoken about his love for films and his admiration for stars like Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan’s recent film They Call Him OG, directed by Sujeeth, received positive responses from fans and performed well at the box office.
While promoting K Ramp, Kiran Abbavaram took part in a Hangout session with Gulte, interacting with fans and movie lovers. During the session, a fan asked Kiran, as a Pawan Kalyan admirer, about his experience watching They Call Him OG on the first day first show.
Kiran chose to avoid answering directly. He explained, “I am genuinely a fan. But I avoid speaking about it because what I say is also observed by a neutral audience. It’s fine to express our love once or twice, but repeating it often can create a different perception.”
He added, “Though I admire him, continuously talking about him could make it seem like I’m using his name to boost my film K Ramp. I don’t want such a perception. I want my work to speak for itself.” Fans of Pawan Kalyan and the general audience have appreciated Kiran’s honesty.
K Ramp is set to release on October 18. The film stars Kiran Abbavaram and Yukti Thareja, and is directed by debutant Jains Nani. It is produced by Razesh Danda under Hasya Movies and Shiva Bommak under Ruudransh Celluloid, with music by Chaitan Bharadwaj.
