Triple Treat on Prabhas’ Birthday for Fans

When a star’s birthday comes around, fans often look forward to updates on their upcoming films. Prabhas’ birthday on October 23 is no exception. In the past, even though he was juggling multiple projects, his team avoided giving multiple updates on his birthday to keep the focus on films releasing soon. This year, things will be different.

Prabhas is currently in the final leg of shooting for The Raja Saab. He is in Greece shooting songs, with the film expected to wrap before its Sankranti release on January 9. With less than three months to go, the makers are planning to release the first single from the film on Prabhas’ birthday. The song will serve as Prabhas’ introduction in the film and has been shot on a grand scale.

At the same time, Prabhas has been working on a film tentatively titled Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi of Andhala Rakshasi and Sita Ramam fame, and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Hanu confirmed at the Dude pre-release event that a title reveal for Fauji will be made on Prabhas’ birthday.

There’s also a third update for fans. Baahubali: The Epic, a recut version of the two-part franchise condensed into a single film, is set to release worldwide on October 31 in multiple premium formats including IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, DBox, EpiQ, ICE, and PCX. The makers plan to release the trailer for this version around Prabhas’ birthday.

This year, fans will get a rare triple treat: a song, a trailer, and possibly a first look or pre-look of his upcoming films. However, fans hoping for updates on Prabhas’ personal life, such as wedding news, may have to wait longer.
