PrabhasHanu Poster: Diwali Firecracker

Rebel Star Prabhas’ much-awaited Pan India film being helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi is currently in the middle of its production. This larger-than-life period film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T Series, stars Imanvi as the female lead, while Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Jaya Prada will be seen in pivotal roles.

The new Diwali poster is a masterclass. While the pile of vintage rifles and smoke-filled air clearly establish a battlefield setting, the focal point is the protagonist’s shadow. Standing tall like a lone battalion, the shadow image is powerful.

The creative heart of this film is hinted at in the Sanskrit text: He is the Pardha who conquered the Padmavyuha. This is an allusion to Arjuna, the peerless archer of the Mahabharata, renowned for his Dharma and skill, and the Padmavyuha, a famously unconquerable military formation. This line suggests Prabhas’s character of a complex warrior facing impossible odds. The creative is a Diwali firecracker, we must say.

This is not all. There is something big in the offing. “Decryption Begins on October 22nd,” announced the makers.
