Telusu Kada is one of the recent releases in Telugu, featuring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, which marked the directorial debut of Neeraja Kona. Interestingly, the film did not meet a great box office result but the film’s lead actors were praised for their performances. Both the leading ladies, Srinidhi Shetty and Raashi Khanna, were appreciated for putting up a glam show along with their performance.
However, the film may not help these two heroines in upping their game immediately. In a way, Srinidhi Shetty isn’t directly benefiting from the film, as she was chosen for Victory Venkatesh’s next project with Trivikram Srinivas even before the release of Telusu Kada.
Comparatively, Raashi is a senior in the Telugu film industry while Srinidhi Shetty is practically one film older. She marked her debut in Telugu with Nani’s HIT 3, and post the release, she was not flooded with offers. In fact, it is Telusu Kada that she signed first. Neither of the films gave her that massive recognition. But, undoubtedly, she is talented and has to prove now with Venkatesh’s next to enter the star league of heroines.
On the other hand, Raashi Khanna pinned big hopes on Telusu Kada as this is her Telugu outing after three years. She was last seen in Pakka Commercial. However, the film earned her a name for performance but may not work out commercially in bringing more offers. Hence, she has to now rely on Ustaad Bhagat Singh to get more reach, visibility and offers.
