Big Move From Kantara, But Isn’t It Too Late?

Kantara: Chapter 1 craze touched the sky during its release time. Despite the team starting late in terms of the promotions, they ensured the film got a grand release across languages. However now, the team announced the film’s release in English which is healthy in terms of pushing the theatrical revenue further. But, the netizens are in an opinion that the team acted a little late.

With Diwali releases occupying the theatres, the audiences are slowly shifting away from Kantara hype. Although the English version caters the foreign audiences, it could have been nicer had the film released along with the desi release across India.

With the English version undergoing some trimming and reportedly with the removal of songs, the runtime will come down to 2hrs and 14min which is what the foreign audiences would be liking. In such a scenario, there are fair chances for the global audiences relating to the core conflict of the film without any commercial decorations.

If the English version connects well, the film has chance to enter the elite 1000 Cr rupees club at the box office. Rishab Shetty who mastered the game of pan-India is now set to conquer the pan-world strategy. Let us hope he wins.

The English version will have a grand release on October 31st worldwide.
