Thamma Collections: Rashmika Factor Turns Zero in Telugu States

Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most successful pan-India actors, boasting an impressive record to her name. Interestingly, the actress is currently showing zero impact with her new release, Thamma. The actress had a new release during Diwali in Hindi, but there is absolutely no noise about it in the Telugu film circles.

It is quite common that these Hindi movies won’t attract big crowds from the Telugu states. Moreover, without promotions, we can not expect anything big. But, Rashmika earned the tag National Crush, and the Telugu audiences earlier were positive about Maddock Comedy films. Even then, Thamma is making no impact, collecting just over 35 lakhs in 2 days, which is a very poor performance.

Coming to the promotions, they have only done one event so far. The event also did not get a big attention because of the existing movies for Diwali at theatres. Now, the team must continue their promotions as the buzz for other releases is slowly coming down. The horror movies need a big push, along with solid word of mouth.

If Rashmika alone can do some magic, at least in the Telugu states, the film will surely gain some mileage towards the weekend.
