Rishab Shetty’s effort and dedication to making Kantar a memorable project are nothing short of a miracle. Despite a lot of negative energy surrounding the film, the actor has given his best to deliver the best possible output. As a director, he gave his cent percent, but as an actor, he gave more than that.
Rishab played a dual role in the film, both as Berme and Mayakara. While Berme is the lead, the character Mayakara comes in the flashback. Mayakara is a fisherman who discovers a pouch of precious spices, which sparks his desire to seize the sacred spice garden within the Kantara forest. Rishab underwent a prosthetic makeup for the character. It used to take close to 6 hours for him to apply the makeup.
To convince everyone that he is a 60-year-old, Rishab had played a similar character with full of authenticity. While directing the film and performing the tough lead role is a big task, performing a strenuous character on the other side is another task altogether.
But, the sheer passion that Rishab had in making the film made him do everything. Today, the film achieved a blockbuster status, which is because of the work he did for the movie.
