Kalki 2898 AD has run into a fresh controversy now, with media bigwigs handling the remote control. There have been many speculations claiming that team Kalki removed Deepika Padukone’s name from the end credits of their movie. To our surprise, it is utterly misleading and holds no truth.
It is a completely negative PR campaign being operated from the Hindi media circles. The fans know the purpose behind it. Ever since Deepika was sacked from Kalki’s sequel, her PR team and some specific media outlets have been planning to help the actress gain mileage and overcome the budding negativity.
The shocking thing is that not only some random accounts, but also popular media outlets are trying to circulate the news that the team has taken such a drastic decision. However, there is no such thing that took place in reality.
Meanwhile, the producers of Kalki tried their best to strike a compromise with Deepika when the two parties could not come to the same page when it comes to the working hours, remuneration, and other aspects of the sequel. As of now, the team has not zeroed in a new actress for the project. More details of the film are awaited.
