Megastar Chiranjeevi was one of the first Tollywood stars who stopped shootings soon after the Coronavirus outbreak in Hyderabad in the third week of March. Even though director Koratala Siva had resumed Acharya’s shoot last month, Chiru didn’t join the set due to a faulty COVID-19 positive result a couple of weeks ago.
But the wait has ended finally. Chiru has finally joined Acharya’s shoot today. Koratala Siva has planned to can some crucial episodes featuring Chiranjeevi in the new schedule. A special set has been erected for the ongoing schedule that’s underway at Kokapet on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
Even Bollywood actor Sonu Sood will be shooting along with Chiru in this schedule. Chiru will be seen as a former Naxalite turned Professor and social reformer in Acharya. Ram Charan, who’s co-producing the film with Niranjan Reddy, will be seen in a crucial cameo in the movie.
