Ajith is one such actor who has always opposed the celebration of stars in the film industry. He has decided to revoke his tag “Thala” and no longer holds press meets or pre-release events for his movies, instead maintaining a low-key lifestyle away from the limelight. He always maintained his duty to make films for his fans and then move on with his personal life later on.
In his recent interview, he urged his fans to stop all the nasty things they do in the name of love. He opposed fans bursting crackers, tearing screens and seats in theatres in the name of celebrations during big films.
“Today, I have a good life. Thanks to the fans. We love all the attention we get. But in the name of celebrations, you are bursting firecrackers, tearing seats and screens. Come on, all these things need to end. When the media reports that an X actor has more openings than a Y actor, the other actor’s fans try to prove more. All this needs to end,” he said.
On the career front, Ajith was last seen in Good Bad Ugly, which was released earlier this year. He is expected to reunite with Good Bad Ugly’s director Adhik Ravichandran for his next film.
