Ram Charan is gearing up for his much-awaited film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, and the music is being composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman. Charan now stirred excitement among fans with a simple yet teasing post on social media: “What’s cooking, guys? @BuchiBabuSana @arrahman sir @_MohitChauhan ji”
That one line was enough to send fans into a frenzy. Soon after, director Buchi Babu revealed that the film’s first single is titled “Chikiri”. Adding to the hype, it was confirmed that the song is sung by Mohit Chauhan, known for his magical collaborations with A.R. Rahman, including the iconic Rockstar album.
According to buzz, a special video has already been filmed to announce the song, and it’s expected to drop anytime now. Social media is abuzz with hashtags like #Chikiri and #PEDDI, as fans can’t wait to get a glimpse of the track.
Along with Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, Peddi also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma in key roles. The film is slated for a grand release on March 27, 2026, and with Rahman’s music, Charan’s mass appeal, and Buchi Babu’s storytelling, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest films to watch out for.
