Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab, a horror comedy laced with entertainment and spooky elements, is one of the most anticipated films during the Sankranti festival season. The film, which was initially supposed to hit the screens in December this year, was later pushed ahead to January 9th due to extensive post production formalities.
From the past few days, there have been numerous rumours that the release date of ‘The Raja Saab’ might be pushed again to Summer due to pending VFX works. In no time, the production house has responded on these speculations and once again clarified that there will not be any change in the release plans.
Calling the ongoing reports as baseless, People Media Factory owned by producer TG Vishwa Prasad issued a press release to reiterate that the magnum opus will hit the screens as announced earlier on January 9th as a festival treat. It also stated that the post production works are happening at a brisk pace maintaining the highest technical standards without any delay. The makers promised to give a larger than life experience to moviegoers during the festival.
Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab revolves around a haunted palace and infuses glamour and entertainment led by Prabhas and an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Niddhi Agerwal. The makers unveiled the theatrical trailer well in advance and gave an insight into the world of The Raja Saab.
The expectations are quite high because Prabhas is coming up with a full length entertainer for the first time since attaining pan-India popularity with his extravagant action films.
