Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who hit a sixer with The First Shot Glimpse, is now inching closer to a half-century with the first single from his most-awaited Pan India film Peddi. The song Chikiri Chikiri, composed by AR Rahman, was released yesterday amid high expectations, and it lived up to them.
Chikiri Chikiri is everywhere. Within 24 hours post-release and it’s already trending No 1 on YouTube with 46M+ views across four languages. With 980K+ likes, the song is breaking records and creating history. It is the top viewed song in India in 24 hours. It broke the previous South India record (32 M) in just 13 hours.
The composition is catchy, while Ram Charan adds his signature charm and elegance with electrifying dance moves. Interestingly, the song also features his iconic front-foot shot, previously seen in the glimpse. With its foot-tapping music, striking lyrics, soulful vocals, and stunning visuals, the track is a complete package that delivers a memorable experience. Interestingly, the team shot the song in original locations, and didn’t use any advanced technology to create such authentic experience.
Ram Charan’s dance moves have been lauded by national media, while his rugged look is taking social media by storm. Janhvi Kapoor’s glamorous presence is another big highlight. Chikiri Chikiri has become a favorite for Instagram reels and is going viral, receiving a sensational response.
