Child artist turned lead actor Teja Sajja made a big statement by scoring back-to-back pan-India blockbusters with Hanu-Man and Mirai. He is currently one of the most sought after youngsters in Tollywood and has a strong line up of projects on the horizon. He has already announced sequels to his hit films like Zombie Reddy and Mirai. Both these films are under pre-production phase.
As per latest reports, Teja is planning to shoot for both Zombie Reddy 2 and Mirai 2 simultaneously and complete them in 2026. While Zombie Reddy 2 is expected to roll out from January next year, Teja is looking to kick start Mirai 2 from early summer. He is said to be adjusting his dates so as to complete the shooting formalities in parallel without wasting much time in between.
If this news turns out to be true, it will be a smart move by Teja because shooting for both films at a stretch will help him utilise the prime time of his career to complete two projects instead of dedicating two years for a single film. As both these sequels will be bankrolled by People Media Factory, adjusting dates and shooting schedules will be much easier for the production house.
Usually, Tollywood actors take a lot of time to finalize future projects and to complete them after scoring hits in order to match the high expectations. But, Teja Sajja is planning his career in an ideal manner by prioritising his films and also making sure that he completes them within the stipulated time.
Zombie Reddy 2 is likely to be helmed by a Bollywood director with Prashant Varma providing the script and screenplay. Mirai 2 will be directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni.
