Smriti Mandhana Deletes All Wedding Related Posts, What Happened?

Indian lady cricketer Smriti Mandhana has sparked curiosity with her latest social media activity. After her marriage ceremony was postponed indefinitely due to a sudden medical emergency of her father just hours before her grand wedding on Sunday, Smriti has deleted all her Instagram posts from her engagement event to the pre-wedding festivities all of a sudden on Monday morning. She even deleted the heartwarming proposal video of her would-be Palash Muchhal. 

Surprisingly, some of her teammates like Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil also deleted the video relating to Smriti’s announcement of her wedding with Palash Muchhal. This unexpected activity has triggered widespread debate. However, her past photos with Palash remain intact. 

Smriti was supposed to marry Palash Muchhal on Sunday in Sangli Maharashtra. However, Smriti’s father Srinivas Mandhana suffered heart attack on Sunday afternoon and was immediately admitted to hospital. The family has called off the wedding without giving an exact date. Today morning, Palash Muchhal was also admitted to hospital due to acidity issues. However, he was immediately discharged after minor treatment. 

Meanwhile, Smriti’s sudden removal of all photos and videos triggered widespread debate in the media and among supporters. It is unclear if she felt that it was inauspicious after both her father and groom-to-be faced health complications in a span of few hours on the day of marriage and deleted all the posts or something else.
