Champion starring Meka Roshan, Anaswara Rajan has been building hype, excitement with attractive, lively promotional content. The movie teaser showcased the real British India from 1940’s with a local footballer from Hyderabad, aiming to meet Queen Elizabeth. Pradeep Advaitam is directing the film with impeccable vision.
Now, the makers have unveiled leading lady, Anaswara Rajan as Chandrakala’s character glimspe and first single Gira Gira song. Composer Mickey J Mayer is able to tap into the tapestry of Indianness and represent Rural Beauty of India in his music. On screen, the visuals are spell-binding.
We see Meka Roshan and Anaswara Rajan’s building friendship and their chemistry is very captivating. The liveliness in Chandrakala rubbing off on Roshan, is protrayed beautifully by both the actors. Anaswara, particularly, looked gorgeous like a Telugu Village Belle while Roshan is dashing with his physique and energy.
Ram Miriyala’s vocals and Kasarla Shyam’s lyrics have added great feel to this haunting melody. Production values in bringing Pre-Independence India to life is exemplary. Priyanka Dutt and Umesh K Bansal have proved their great taste in bringing this touching tale to screens. Movie is releasing on 25th December, 2025.
