Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s rustic sports and action drama Peddi directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Sathish Kilaru on Vruddhi Cinemas is getting ready for release on March 27 in 2026, and the buzz is already high with thumping response for First Shot Glimpse and the first song Chikiri Chikiri becoming a global phenomenon.
The track stormed past 100 million views and inspiring thousands of reels, shorts, and dance covers. To celebrate this roaring success, the makers unveiled a making video titled Behind the Chikiri Madness, offering fans an intimate peek at the passion and perseverance behind the viral sensation.
Shot in a breathtaking hill station reached only after a 45-minute uphill trek, the video shows Ram Charan pulling off the hook step in a stunning natural setting. The climb wasn’t just scenic- it was steep and demanding, forcing the team to use ropes to navigate tricky sections.
Every frame of the song scored by AR Rahman, as the video reveals, was earned through grit, teamwork, and an immense love for the craft. Adding a delightful touch of humour, Charan is seen teasing director Buchi Babu Sana, affectionately calling him Thala.
