The Man Behind Raju Weds Rambai!

Noted Telugu filmmaker Venu Udugula has added another successful project to his career, this time as a producer.

After impressing audiences with films like Needi Naadi Oke Katha and Virata Parvam, the director ventured into production with Raju Weds Rambai, made under the Dolamukhi Subaltern Films banner.

Featuring Akil Raj and Tejaswini in the lead roles, the film opened to encouraging word-of-mouth and has performed consistently well at the box office. Released with the support of ETV Win and distributed by Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati, the film has managed to strike an emotional connection with viewers, largely due to its raw storytelling and natural performances.

Industry observers note that the project reflects Venu Udugula’s strong inclination toward rooted, content-driven cinema. Following this success, he is reportedly planning more such films as a producer while simultaneously preparing for an upcoming large-scale directorial venture.
