Hit maker Anil Ravipudi has made it a habit to release wholesome family entertainers during Sankranti festival and score blockbusters. His previous films F2, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Sankranti ki Vastunnam released during the same season and emerged as clean hits at the box office. Now, he gearing up to continue his success streak with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu.
Speaking at the International Film Festival of India in Goa, Ravipudi revealed that Chiranjeevi is doing a full length family drama for the first time in 20 years. He exuded confidence in the output and stated that audience will experience double dose of entertainment during the festival season this time than Venky’s Sankranti ki Vastunnam. He added Chiranjeevi will surprise everyone with his onscreen performance in a complete family drama.
Talking about promotions, Anil said the team will resume them shortly after completing the shooting formalities. He also confirmed that Victory Venkatesh will appear in an extended cameo which will be a big surprise for moviegoers. Concluding the brief media interaction, Ravipudi said he will continue releasing films for Sankranti as long as audience keep encouraging them.
As Sankranti ki Vastunnam emerged as the highest grossing Telugu film of all time among Sankranti releases, the expectations on Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu are very mammoth because of Chiranjeevi’s stardom. The box office will witness a big storm if the film garners positive reports during the festival season. Will Ravipudi score another sixer this time ?
