Indian Hero In Never-Seen-Before Avatar In Hollywood Biggie

Noted actor Vidyut Jammwal is making his Hollywood debut with the upcoming American martial-arts film, Street Fighter. Directed by Kitao Sakurai, Street Fighter is the live-action adaptation of the video game series of the same name. Recently, the makers unveiled the first-look posters of the principal cast of the film.

Meanwhile, what caught Indian audiences’ attention was the intriguing first look poster of Jammwal in the role of Dhalsim. He went bald for the role and immediately attracted us with this unique getup.

Dhalsim is one of the prominent characters in the video game series. He is a mystical yogi who is loved by his villagers. He possesses telekinetic abilities and yoga powers in the series. The character was first introduced in the Street Fighter series in 1994.

Going by the look, Vidyut seems to be a perfect fit for this character. He is always considered an underrated action hero in Indian cinema, and fans are hoping that he gets his due recognition with this upcoming action biggie.

Street Fighter also features Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, Roman Reigns, David Dastmalchian, Cody Rhodes, Andrew Schulz, Eric André, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, and Jason Momoa in other main roles. It is slated for worldwide release on October 16, 2026.
