Don’t Cross the Limits: Shivaji Advises Heroines on Dressing

Senior actor Shivaji, who regained popularity after Bigg Boss and later impressed audiences with his negative role in Court, is currently busy with several projects. His upcoming film Dandora, in which he plays an important role, is set for release on the 25th of this month.

During the pre release event held on Monday night, Shivaji’s comments on heroines draw huge backslash. He made strong remarks about the way actresses dress and advised them not to cross limits in the name of glamour.

Shivaji first appreciated anchor Prashanthi for attending the event in a saree and praised her elegance. He then spoke more broadly about heroines and dressing styles, saying that beauty does not lie in revealing clothes but in grace and dignity. According to him, true beauty is seen in traditional or well covered outfits, not in outfits that expose the body.

He remarked that when actresses wear inappropriate clothes, people may smile on the outside, but many silently question why they chose such dressing when they could look better in decent attire. He added that such opinions are often misunderstood as opposition to women’s freedom, which is not the case.

Shivaji said that a woman represents nature itself and dignity adds to her respect. He recalled how his mother still remains a strong and graceful image in his mind and said that even in the current generation, many women carry themselves with elegance. He cited actresses who created a strong impact while maintaining balance between glamour and grace.

He says that glamour is fine, but only up to a certain point. Shivaji also pointed out that even on international platforms, women wearing sarees have won major beauty titles, highlighting the power of traditional elegance.
