Ranveer Walked Out Of Don 3 After Dhurandhar’s Success?

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh staged a comeback of sorts with his latest blockbuster Dhurandhar, an Aditya Dhar directional which emerged as the highest grossing Indian film of the year by the end of its third weekend. As the spy thriller sets sights on joining the ambitious 1000 Crores club, an interesting speculation started making waves in Bollywood circles.

As per the latest rumours, Ranveer Singh has reportedly decided to reassess his career choices and rejig the line-up of upcoming projects. Sources say that the Dhurandhar actor has walked out of the much anticipated third installment of ‘Don’ as he wants to strategically choose stories that brings out more versatility in his acting repertoire.

The reports further claim that Ranveer decided to walk out of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 because he doesn’t want to do back-to-back similar films and also looking to take up diverse roles and also join hands with pan-India directors. Sources say that he is keen to collaborate with hotshot filmmakers who can present him in new dimension without getting typecast.

It is believed that Ranveer now wants to pre-pone the shoot of his next project Pralay under the direction of Jai Mehta. He has reportedly asked the makers to quickly plan shooting schedules and complete the entire filming in quick time. The film explores a zombie theme and will be complete departure from the characters played by Ranveer so far in his career.

Moreover, it is heard that Ranveer is also looking forward to collaborating with South directors like Atlee and Lokesh Kanagaraj who can elevate his stardom further.

Though there is no official announcement about the fate of Don 3 at this juncture, one thing is very clear that Ranveer Singh has decided to utilise the newfound craze and handpick scripts that will resonate with larger section of audiences.
