There has been huge anticipation surrounding director Trivikram’s ambitious project, God of War, which is based on the Hindu deity Lord Murugan. However, if grapevine in the industry is anything to go by, it is now turning into a tug of war between two big stars, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun.
Initially, it was rumoured that Trivikram would do this project with Allu Arjun. After Guntur Kaaram’s release, it was stated that Trivikram and Bunny would team up for a pan-India mythological film. Though the project was not officially announced, rumours stated that the film would go on floors after Pushpa’s release.
However, after Pushpa, Allu Arjun decided to team up with Atlee. For some reason, Trivikram also decided to shift the project to Jr NTR. This time, producer Naga Vamshi officially announced the project. NTR was also spotted with the book, God of War. It was stated that the film will hit the floors once NTR gets done with his ongoing project with Prashant Neel and Trivikram finishes his film with Venkatesh.
Now, again, it is being rumoured that the project has gone back to Allu Arjun, and it would begin in February 2027, once Bunny gets done with his ongoing project with Atlee. Reports stated that the film will be made on a budget of over Rs. 1000 crores. It was also stated that the project will be officially announced soon.
These latest rumours have raised confusion among fans, with many fighting among themselves and claiming that their favourite hero is the film’s leading actor. Usually, producer Naga Vamshi puts an end to such rumours quickly, and fans are hoping he will clarify this news as soon as possible.
