Kiccha Sudeep is one of the top stars of Kannada cinema and has a strong fan base beyond Karnataka. He earned good recognition in Telugu films like Eega and also acted in a few Hindi movies. Sudeep is known for accepting challenging roles, whether as a hero, villain, or in special appearances.
The other day, Sudeep shared his disappointment about the lack of support for Kannada films from other language industries. He said that while he and stars like Shivarajkumar and Upendra often do cameo roles in other languages, the same support is not coming back to Kannada cinema.
Sudeep revealed that he even acted in many cameo roles without taking money, but when he personally requested actors from other industries, they did not agree. According to him, genuine mutual support is missing.
Sudeep’s latest film Mark was released as a Christmas treat. He wanted actors from other languages to do cameos in the film, but they reportedly declined. While Mark opened decently, mixed reviews suggest it may struggle to sustain at the box office.
