The over-enthusiasm of fans sometimes creates extreme problems, which is not new to the Telugu film culture. In a shocking incident in Odisha, a fire broke out in a theatre during the screening of Prabhas’ The Raja Saab. The fans reportedly burst crackers inside the cinema hall, which triggered the fire accident.
The incident took place at Ashok Talkies in Odisha’s Rayagada district during the screening of Prabhas’ The Raja Saab on Friday. The incident took place when Prabhas made a grand on-screen entry. The reports say that a group of fans seated close to the screen began celebrating by lighting crackers and performing aarti.
It has triggered a fire in the theatre, causing a sudden blaze near the screen area. For a brief while, panic gripped the hall before the audience regained control of the situation. However, no casualties were reported in the incident but the screening was stopped temporarily as a safety measure.
The film was released on January 9 and opened to negative reviews from the audience.
