Pawan Kalyan Gets Global Recognition in Kenjutsu

Pawan Kalyan has achieved a rare and special honour in the field of martial arts. He has officially been inducted into Kenjutsu, an ancient Japanese sword fighting art, gaining international recognition for his long dedication and discipline.

Pawan Kalyan is widely known as an actor and a public leader. He has worked in many areas of cinema and is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Along with films and politics, martial arts has been an important part of his life.

His journey in martial arts began long before he entered the film industry. He trained seriously in karate and other fighting forms, especially during his time in Chennai. Over the years, he did not limit himself to physical training alone but also studied Japanese samurai traditions and martial arts philosophy.

This lifelong effort has now been recognised globally. Pawan Kalyan received official entry into Kenjutsu, which is considered a rare honour. He was also awarded the Fifth Dan by the respected Japanese organisation Sogo Budo Kanri Kai.

In another special achievement, he became the first Telugu person to be inducted into the Takeda Shingen Clan under Soke Muramatsu Sensei, an honour rarely given outside Japan. He was also honoured with the title Tiger of Martial Arts by the Golden Dragons organisation.

Pawan Kalyan received advanced training under Professor Dr Siddiq Mahmoodi, one of India’s leading Japanese martial arts experts. Under his guidance, he trained in Kendo and gained strong technical skills and deeper understanding.

His interest in martial arts has also been seen in several of his films, where he showcased authentic fighting techniques.

With this achievement, Pawan Kalyan has earned a unique place among Indian personalities who have gained global respect in traditional martial arts.
