Lady Director Indirectly Hits Out At Vijay’s Fans

All three films faced legal hurdles and disturbances prior to their release and it was shocking that Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated farewell movie Jana Nayagan got postponed indefinitely. Sivakarthikeyan’s Parashakti finally made it to screens on time after facing some censor issues. But, the film managed to receive only mixed reports from critics and moviegoers alike.

The accused Vijay’s fans for resorting to an online smear campaign targeting the film through biased ratings in BookMyShow and other portals.

Now, Parasakthi director Sudha Kongara Prasad indirectly slammed Vijay’s fans for intentionally targeting her film. In her latest interview, the lady director accused the fans of a particular for trying to defame Parasakthi through slander by unknown IDs disguised as fans.

The Soorarai Pottru director referred to several threatening posts on social media which are aimed at the makers of Parasakthi. She openly said such attacks are not from political circles but from fans of an actor whose film didn’t release during the festival. She expressed disappointment over fighting against rowdyism and goonism.

Parasakthi released in theatres on January 10. The film faced censor issues till the last moment and received a U/A certificate with 25 modifications just a day before its scheduled release.
