There has been a long wait for Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad’s debut as a hero. Finally, he steps into acting with director Venu Yeldandi of Balagam fame for the prestigious film Yellamma, presented by Dil Raju and produced by Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Marking Makara Sankranti, the team unveiled a powerful concept glimpse. A neem leaf swirls into the sky and transforms into the Goddess amid roaring rain. From the storm emerges a shirtless drummer, DSP, carrying a drum on his back, a goat fluttering nearby, finally introduced as Parshi. The visuals radiate pure cultural mysticism.
The blend of neem, haldi, and kumkum textures amplifies the film’s authenticity. DSP’s rugged intensity and electrifying beats further elevate the hype. The makers have also announced that the film will release in all South Indian languages along with Hindi.
The film’s rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
