Marking 50 remarkable years of Annapurna Studios, the Akkineni family celebrated Sankranti in Hyderabad with grandeur and emotion. Founded by the legendary ANR on a Sankranthi day in 1976, the studio’s golden jubilee stands as a shining reminder of his vision.
This year’s festivities had a special highlight with newlyweds Naga Chaitanya and Shobitha Dhulipala, who turned heads with their traditional silk ensembles. The couple joined employees and their families in the celebrations, continuing ANR’s long-standing tradition of the Akkineni family personally serving festive meals to the studio staff.
Naga Chaitanya looks suave in his navy-blue kurta, and brings his signature charisma, while Sobhita, resplendent in a flowing light-yellow saree, added a touch of modern grace to the traditions. Both look lovely together in traditional attires.
