Dhanush is one of the sensational actors in the country. He is one of the very few who are focusing on doing back-to-back movies. Interestingly, after the success of his recent films, Dhanush is now aiming to strengthen his market further with a full-fledged commercial entertainer. Titled Kara, the makers launched the teaser yesterday.
Dhanush is seen in a dense forest, drenched in rain, while some men carry torches, in search of him. The teaser opens in a manner that hints at a brutal actioner. Dhanush plays a serious role in the film, where there is a lot of scope for action. The teaser runs through the voice-over of Dhanush, giving us a hint that he is on a mission.
At one point, he declares, “My name is Karasaami. They call me Kara,” and it sets the tone and mood for the teaser.
The film is directed by Vignesh Raja, who gained acclaim for Por Thozhil. The movie is produced by Dr Ishari K Ganesh and co-produced by Kushmitha Ganesh, with the makers locking Summer 2026 for its theatrical release. Mamitha Baiju, KS Ravikumar, Jayaram, and others play key roles in the film. GV Prakash is the music director.
