Vijay’s Jana Nayagan to Delay Chiranjeevi’s Next?

Megastar Chiranjeevi teamed up with director KS Ravindra, aka Bobby, for the second time, after the blockbuster Waltair Veerayya. The project’s announcement has been made, but there are reports of a potential delay in the project materialising. The film’s production house, KVN Productions, will move ahead with Chiru’s film most likely after the release of Jana Nayagan.

As per the initial plan, Chiranjeevi’s film with Bobby was supposed to hit the floors right after the shoot of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. But the latest reports say that the plans have changed as the producers are unable to initiate production as they are currently occupied with financial troubles because of legal battle with CBFC.

KVN Productions wants to resolve the troubles they are facing with Jana Nayagan, including financial and legal issues. In the meantime, it remains to be seen whether Chiranjeevi and Bobby will wait. Ideally, the actor-director duo may move ahead with the shoot to make the most of the current craze for MSG.

In the current situation, there are two options. One of them is to wait until the hurdles of Jana Nayagan are cleared. The other option is that KVN Productions must bring in a line producer to do the co-production by beginning the shoot at the earliest and settling everything later.

It is too early to come to a conclusion on the same, and we may arrive at clarity only once the court’s verdict is finally out. However, the speculations in Telugu film circles currently say that the untitled project will anyways begin next month.

As per Tollywood insider sources, the production may have other plans and could move ahead with Chiranjeevi’s film irrespective of the Jana Nayagan issue, as per the initial agreements. However, it is still uncertain at this stage, and an official confirmation is awaited.

Having said that, there are speculations that Priyamani will play the role of Chiru’s wife in the film and Kriti Shetty is in talks to play Chiranjeevi’s daughter.
