Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sankranthi blockbuster Mana Shankara Vara Prasad continues its strong run at the box office. The team celebrated the success with a grand event, where shields were presented to the cast, crew, and buyers.
Anil Ravipudi spoke about the joy and pressure of delivering nine consecutive hits. “I sincerely thank my producers for their immense support. Chiranjeevi surprised me with an invaluable gift, a Range Rover. I am grateful to Nayanthara for her performance and to Venkatesh, who is like family to me. Today feels like a complete victory with mega celebrations, broken records, happy distributors, and confident producers.
“When Chiranjeevi gives a thumbs up, it feels like having a powerful force behind me, just like my father. The emotions I experienced with him cannot be measured. If this success is one high, I want to do another film with him to experience the next high,” Anil said.
Venkatesh thanked the entire team and the Telugu audience. “The film received immense love and respect. Audiences turned it into one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema. Chiranjeevi truly deserves all time records. I am happy to be part of such a film. Thanks to Anil for bringing me on board. His team feels like family, and I work with them like an assistant director. Congratulations and thanks to Sushmita and Sahu,” he said.
Chiranjeevi expressed heartfelt gratitude to Telugu audiences. “Four days after the release, my daughter asked me, ‘Hits are routine for you, are you not bored?’ I replied, ‘Never. A mother, food, and success never get boring.’ It felt nostalgic to hand over shields to distributors after a long time, and that credit goes to Anil Ravipudi.
“His working style reminded me of Raghavendra Rao. After Khaidi No 150 and Waltair Veerayya, I thoroughly enjoyed working on this film and almost every day on set. When the director, actor, and producer share a genuine bond, the film reflects that emotion on screen.
“As I mentioned during the pre release event, festival releases often turn into hits, and this Sankranthi became memorable for the industry. I wanted Venkatesh to be part of this film, and we had a great time working together. No matter how big the actors or the project are, Anil can handle it confidently. Anil Ravipudi is the future of the Telugu industry.
“Sahu is extremely composed. When Sushmita said she wanted to enter the industry, Charan encouraged her. She worked on Rangasthalam costumes and later gained experience through web projects. She invested her own money in this film. I did not invest any funds and only took my remuneration,” Chiranjeevi added.
The event was also attended by K Raghavendra Rao, VV Vinayak, and several other special guests.
