Elon Musk Targeting the World’s Biggest Filmmaker?

The richest man on the planet, Elon Musk is an extremely opinionated person as he frequently shares his thoughts on Twitter. In this context, he is in the bad news now as his name came up in the Epstein Island files, and he had an interesting recourse for the same as he came down at Hollywood film maker, Christopher Nolan in an underrated manner. 

This point of conflict between Elon and Director Christopher Nolan came up regarding the latter’s upcoming film Odyssey. 

Elon Musk commented “Chris Nolan has lost his integrity” on January 31, 2026, in response to a Twitter post criticizing the rumored casting of black origin actress Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film adaptation of The Odyssey. 

Elon Musk implied that the casting choice deviates from Homer’s description of the character as fair-skinned and blonde. Musk’s remark sparked backlash, with many accusing him of racism or hypocrisy given his own controversies.

However, Nyong’o’s role in the film has not been officially confirmed it’s based on reports and speculation, though she is confirmed to be part of the cast.

The film, set for release on July 17, 2026, features a star-studded ensemble including Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, and others, and is Nolan’s take on Homer’s epic poem.
