Lavanya Tripati has strongly reacted to the criticism directed at Megastar Chiranjeevi following the birth of his grandson. While the Chiranjeevi family has been celebrating the arrival of Ram Charan and Upasana’s twin babies, a section of social media users attempted to create controversy around Chiranjeevi’s old remarks about wanting a grandson.
Responding firmly, Mega Daughter-in-Law Lavanya took to X and made it clear that she usually ignores such comments but was disappointed to see certain individuals, including a film critic, making insensitive remarks. She stated that turning a joyful family moment into a controversy reflects poor judgment and unnecessary negativity.
Lavanya pointed out that those criticizing Chiranjeevi have no understanding of how he treats the women in his family, especially his granddaughters. She underlined that very few men show the kind of love, respect, and care that he consistently demonstrates toward the women in his household.
She also advised critics not to pass comments on someone they do not personally know or fully understand. Her strong and dignified response quickly gained attention online, with many supporters backing her stand.
Following the backlash, the film critic who had posted a comment reportedly deleted the tweet. Lavanya’s response is now being seen as a clear message against dragging personal family celebrations into avoidable public debates.
