Young hero Teja Sajja, who shot to nationwide fame with HanuMan, has taken his stardom a notch higher with Mirai. The fantasy adventure, directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni and produced by People Media Factory, emerged as a massive Pan-India blockbuster with remarkable box-office numbers.
After its theatrical run, Mirai landed on Hotstar and continued its dream streak with stellar streaming viewership. Now, the film has created yet another milestone with its world television premiere. Mirai scored an exceptional 9.1+ TRP, the highest for any film this year. Even more impressive is its 10.8 rating during the final hour, reflecting sustained engagement and strong family appeal.
Of late, OTT dominance has largely overshadowed satellite performance. However, Mirai breaks the trend with a sensational TV reception. It stands out as a extraordinary film in recent times to achieve major success across three different platforms, which is a feat even several big-ticket blockbusters couldn’t manage.
Mirai received a sensational response on Hindi television as well, emerging as Star Gold’s No. 1 film of 2025. With such overwhelming nationwide love, expectations for the sequel have now skyrocketed.
