Tharun Bhascker’s GPS: Trump n Revolver

Tharun Bhascker is presently starring in a unique entertainer with director Pavan Sadineni serving as the presenter, with Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories and Zee Studios bankrolling. Written and directed by Kasyap Sreenivas, the film stars Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary playing heroines opposite Tharun Bhascker.

An interesting title Gaayapadda Simham is locked for the movie. The title poster comes with a strong American vibe- red and white stripes, stars, and a fast-flying aircraft, all styled like a passport stamp.

The title poster also features a sharp-looking revolver, a caricature of US President Donald Trump, and a Nataraja compass box. These elements and the tagline, “Don’t Laugh! It’s a Serious Matter!”, hints at satire, thrills, and quirky humour. The film’s traiser arrives on February 9th.

With just one song shoot pending, the makers started the promotional activities. The traiser is expected to offer a glimpse into the story, which revolves around a contemporary theme- the protagonist’s pursuit of the American dream and his decision to take on an invisible, unbeatable system.

The film brings together cinematographer Vidya Sagar Chinta and composer Sweekar Agasthi.
