Jr NTR is set to resume shooting for his much-anticipated film Dragon (rumoured title), with a massive 20-day schedule expected to begin soon in Jordan. As per the latest reports, the team has locked an extensive overseas shoot, signalling that the project has finally gathered strong momentum after earlier delays.
The film has already generated huge buzz, not only because of Jr NTR’s presence but also due to director Prashant Neel’s surprising creative shift.
Known for his signature dark, gritty visuals in films like KGF and Salaar, Prashant Neel is reportedly taking a completely different visual approach for Dragon. This time, the director is moving away from desaturated tones and heavy palettes, opting instead for vibrant, colourful visuals.
As per sources, Neel aims to present Dragon in a fresh, visually rich avatar that can appeal strongly to audiences. The familiar dark colour grading seen in his previous films will not be repeated here.
Rukmini Vasanth and Anil Kapoor play key roles in the film, adding further weight to the ensemble. Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas is also reportedly part of the film, though official confirmation is awaited.
Earlier delays occurred after discussions were sparked over minimal changes to the storyline, but the makers confirm that everything is now on track. With shooting progressing smoothly, Dragon is shaping up to be one of the most interesting departures in Prashant Neel’s career.
