Three Heroines in Talks for Venky & FaFa: What’s Anil Cooking?

After delivering back-to-back festival blockbusters, director Anil Ravipudi has once again booked the Sankranti berth well in advance with his landmark 10th film and it will be headlined by Victory Venkatesh and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil. 

As Ravipudi wants to close all non-theatrical rights before taking the film on to sets in order to make sure that the producer won’t face any difficulties in securing OTT deals, the formal launch of this much anticipated multi-starrer is likely to be take place after some time. 

In the meantime, Ravipudi is also simultaneously finalizing the cast and crew for this film. Just like his previous outings, he is once again making sure that the female leads add significant hype to the project. After considering several names, he has reportedly locked three heroines for the crazy multi-starrer. 

Sources close to the director revealed that Keerthi Suresh, Pooja Hegde and Ashika Ranganathan have been finalized to join the film. While Keerthi Suresh and Pooja Hegde will share screen space with Venkatesh, Ashika will be paired opposite Fahadh. 

In both Sankranti ki Vastunnam and Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu, the leading ladies played a prominent role in the narrative. Ravipudi has the knack for weaving entertainment around his lead actors without depending much on comedians. This is why heroines in his films get good appreciation from moviegoers and critics. 

Keerthi Suresh, who is looking for a big break in Tollywood, should consider herself lucky to land this offer. Pooja Hegde is also desperate to make a strong comeback in Telugu. She previously did a special song in F3. Now, she is getting a full fledged role from Ravipudi. Also, Ashika has grabbed the eyeballs with her glamorous performance in Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayalaku Wignyapthi. 

So, it will be interesting to see what Ravipudi has in store with two male actors and three heroines. He will once again stick to his time tested template to dish out another wholesome entertainer during the Sankranti season.
